LT100 OFFICIAL LOTTERY SELECTION RULES

Life Time Leadville Trail 100 Run & MTB

EVENT LOTTERY SELECTION RULES

  • Athletes will have the opportunity to be entered into the lottery for the 2025 Life Time Leadville Trail 100 MTB presented by Kenetik and/or the 2025 Life Time Leadville Trail 100 Run presented by La Sportiva from December 1st, 2024, at 10 a.m. MST until December 15th, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. MST.
  • Registration for entry selection will be free of charge, but credit card information will be collected when you submit your entry and only charged if accepted into the race or if you choose to make a donation. A donation will not increase your chance of selection.
  • Beginning with the 2025 season, the team option has been removed and all participants must enter the lottery as an individual. This change helps ensure a fair and equitable experience for all participants
  • All athletes will be notified on January 7th, 2025. Subject to eligibility requirements, the individuals whose names are drawn will be awarded entry into the respective 100 mile event. Selected participants will be notified by the email entered during the registration process and the participant’s credit card will automatically be charged the registration fee, plus a processing fee and any add-ons selected.
  • If an athlete is drawn in the lottery and their credit card is declined, they will have one week to update their payment information or their spot will be forfeited.
  • All registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable and subject to all other terms, conditions and restrictions of the Leadville Race Series.
  • Only one application per person. Any registration fees processed due to an individual submitting multiple applications are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Athletes with existing entry to the 2025 event are NOT allowed to enter the 2025 lottery. Any registration fees processed due to an individual submitting multiple applications are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Any merchandise purchases made at registration will only be charged if the athlete is selected in the lottery.
  • Any donations to a foundation made at registration will be charged during registration.
  • If an athlete wishes to withdraw their name from the lottery, they must email the support team no later than 11:59 PM MST on 12/15/24.
  • The entire selection and registration process shall be at the sole discretion of Life Time, whose decisions and interpretations shall be final and binding. Life Time reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend the selection process or the event for any reason. Life Time reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it reasonably suspects or believes to be tampering with the entry process or to be acting in violation of these rules. Life Time shall not be responsible for incomplete entries or those that are not received by Life Time by the applicable deadline for any reason.

LEADVILLE RACE SERIES QUALIFIERS

Registration for qualifiers opens January 8th and is available on a first-come first-served basis until sold out.  

 

Leadville Race Series qualifying events are a great way to earn an entry in the 100 mile races, offering at least 35 qualifier coins at each event. Each Leadville Race Series qualifier provides coins to the respective 100 mile event. The number of slots at each event is up to the discretion of the Leadville Race Series Team.

There are a minimum of 35 LT100 qualifier coins up for grabs at each of the Leadville Race Series qualifier events. 

  • Qualifier coins will only be given to athletes who finish the longest distance race at each qualifier event. Coin winners MUST BE PRESENT at the awards ceremony and claim their entry immediately.
  • Coin winners must complete and pay for their registration for the Leadville Trail 100 Run or Bike during the designated time offered. 
  • All registration fees for the LT100 Run and Bike are non-transferable, nonrefundable, and subject to the Leadville Race Series deferral policies.

The 35+ coins at each event will be distributed based on overall and age group performance, as well as an event lottery at the end of the awards ceremony. 

  • The performance based coins will be distributed to the top overall performances, as well as the top performances of each age category.
  • If an athlete elects to not accept their entry, the coin will “roll down” to the next top athlete in their category.
  • In the event that slots are not claimed after the roll down, they will be reallocated to the event lottery. 
  • The event lottery is available to all official finishers.
  • Names will be randomly drawn in the lottery from all eligible and interested athletes to distribute these coins until none remain.

LT100 TRAINING CAMP + ENTRY PACKAGES

Led by the best of the best, the Leadville Trail 100 MTB Camp or the Leadville Trail 100 Run Camp could be your entry into the Leadville Trail 100. Don’t wait around to see if you have luck in the lottery – secure a guaranteed spot in the by registering for one of the Training Camp + Entry packages. As a camp participant, you will cover every mile of the LT100 MTB or LT100 Run courses while paying special attention to the most grueling sections to help get you ready for the August races.

Registration for Camp + Entry packages opens December 1st, 2024. Registration for Camp ONLY packages opens January 8th, 2025. Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis until the event is sold out.

COACHING + ENTRY PACKAGES

Receive an expert training program from the official coaching partner of the Leadville Race Series, Boundless Coaching, along with guaranteed entry to the 100 mile event of your choosing. CHARITY SLOTS

Bypass the lottery and guarantee your entry by registering with a charity. Competing on behalf of one of our official charity partners not only guarantees you a spot in your 2025 race, but also provides you the opportunity to make an impact in the community.

VOLUNTEER

Volunteer for any Leadville Race Series event (in Leadville) for 15 hours or more or have someone volunteer on your behalf, and receive preference in the following year’s lottery.

LIFE TIME MEMBER GUARANTEED REGISTRATION

Life Time members who have held a Club-Access Membership for at least 6 months prior to lottery/registration are eligible for guaranteed entry into Leadville Race Series events.

Leadville Trail 100 MTB – August 9, 2025

Leadville Trail 100 Run – August 16-17, 2025.

Members can begin registering on 11/24/2024 and the deadline to claim guaranteed entry for Life Time members is 11/30/2024.

Qualifier Events:

Life Time members can register for Leadville Race Series qualifier events between 1/1/2025 and 1/7/2025.
