CHARITY SLOTS

Add purpose to your race experience by signing up to ride or run with one of our official Leadville Race Series charity partners. By registering with one of the Leadville Race Series charity partners, you can secure a spot to our sold out events while fundraising for a great cause. Find out more on how it works below.

HOW IT WORKS

Each charity participant is required to fundraise a minimum amount for the charity partner in order to secure your spot. This cost also includes your guaranteed spot in the 2025 event, and your registration and service fees. Charity spots are limited and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The official charity partners determine the fundraising minimum for each race, please reach out to the contacts below for more information.

A Note On Deferrals for Charity Entries:

Should a charity partner athlete want to defer their race entry to the following year, their deferral process will follow the same path of any other athlete registered for the event(s). All Charity Partner athletes that register with a unique code for Leadville Race Series events are subject to the Leadville Race Series LT100 MTB & RUN Deferral Policy.

Life Time Foundation

The Life Time Foundation supports public schools and community organizations, right here in Leadville and across the nation, to improve youth nutrition and promote youth physical activity. All of the dollars raised stay in the Leadville community.

The Team: By joining the Life Time Foundation Team and committing to fundraise for the cause, athletes are guaranteed race entry, receive top-class Foundation gear, and become part of an incredible, mission-driven community.

The Life Time Foundation charity slot registration opens on November 6, 2024.

The Leadville Trail 100 Legacy Foundation

The Leadville Trail 100 Legacy Foundation is the original charity partner of the Leadville Trail 100.  It was created by race founders Ken Chlouber & Merilee Maupin to provide athletes a way to give back to Leadville and the community that has supported these events for the past 40 years. Each year funds raised during the Leadville Race Series events are pumped right back into the community. The Legacy Foundation awards a $2,000 scholarship to every Lake County High School graduate looking to further their education and the Legacy Grants program provides funding to local programs and initiatives working to ensure that Leadville is a great place to live, work and raise a family.

The Leadville Trail 100 Legacy Foundation charity slot registration is OPEN NOW! For more information, visit their website or reach out to their staff.

Colorado Outward Bound School

Colorado Outward Bound School is on a mission to change lives through challenge and discovery in the outdoors. On backpacking adventures across Colorado and Utah, we empower youth to become compassionate and bold leaders. Founded in 1962, we are proud to be one of the longest-running expeditionary learning schools in the country. For decades, we have helped youth connect with nature, develop a love for outdoor recreation, and grow into their best selves.

By joining our team, you’ll help provide scholarships for youth and local community partners to embark on our outdoor adventures. Moreover, you’ll be supporting a Leadville-based non-profit.
